Develop Website Traffic and "Monetize" Your Website
54Now you have created your website, you’re excited about your prospects, but you have no "Traffic". This, an all too common scenario, invites the question - now what do you do? The point of fact is that the real work has just begun. In order to monetize your website you will have to develop website traffic and bring your website to life. You can have a great product and great website, but if no one "sees" your website, it will be like a fish out of water - "it will never make it".
Everyone has different ideas and different goals, but in the end, there are some thoughts, ideas and goals that are common to any - "plan for survival". What follows is a breakdown of some of those "common" thoughts, ideas and goals that should be a part of, what we'll call, your master - "Website Traffic Plan".
To be successful your "Website Traffic Plan" must include:
1 - a routine schedule for posting to your: main website pages, article directories, hub pages, wordpress, blogspot and squidoo lens
2 - an expansion of your posts to wordpress, blogspot and squidoo lens, wherein you setup multiple sites (two to three each) in order to optimize your search engine
visibility
3 - a "signup" form as a part of all of your postings, inviting your guests to
become part of your weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly or monthly newsletter (i.e.,
begin developing you own optin list).
4 - from the optin list, begin disseminating (from daily to tri-weekly) your own
email, supported by your auto responders.
What's shown above is a "structure" for a plan to build website traffic. Now if you follow through and "work your plan" as outlined above, you will surely reap the rewards of your effort.
A couple of final comments. First, do not expect immediate results, it will likely require months of sustained (that's worth repeating - "sustained") effort. Secondly, your success will be a measure of your ability to produce quality original content.
If you are persistent you will most surely prevail in the end. Begin today with a sustained course of action.
